How to Prevent Spam Emails

Using the Email Icon Generator to generate an email icon for your site can prevent spams being picked up by ads bots and spiders. Never post your email directly (using the @ sign) onto websites or forums, it can be picked up by ads bots and add to their spam list.

When registering for a website, uncheck all subscription topics, so no ads emails will be sent to you. Using example (cococokies-jar[at]anyurl.com) on your page can also reduce spams, however advance scanning bots can still read and add to their spam list.

Ever download a rar archive along with a readme.txt that requires password? Opening readme.txt instructs you to visit a website to ask for password. To unlock the rar archive you have to enter your email. Take time to check out that site, or comments by other downloaders whether it sells your email to ads spammers.
